Hord has begun integrating Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) into a portion of its validators, provided by SSV. A total of roughly 33% of all Hord validators will have DVT integrated. These integrations enhance security, decentralization, and the overall staking experience for Hord users.
Traditionally, staking relied on single entities managing validators, creating a centralized point of vulnerability. DVT disrupts this model by allowing managed validator stakes to be distributed among multiple operators. This approach eliminates the need for operators to hold validator keys directly, significantly reducing security risks.
By embracing DVT, Hord demonstrates its commitment to a secure and more decentralized staking experience. This collaboration with SSV empowers a future where stakers of all sizes can participate in securing the Ethereum network.
The integration of DVTs is one of many recent milestones reached. The next major improvement to Hord includes the integration of Eigenlayer, which will provide staking abilities. In addition to that, a referral and affiliation program will be added soon.
