How to propose
Community members can review, comment on and submit proposals on Discourse before they’re up for vote.
Posting proposals
Any community member can post an RFC (Request For Comment) on Discourse, prompting a discussion on a specific proposal.
Feedback phase
Stakeholders are encouraged to review proposals and provide input, suggesting alternatives or amendments.
Proposal finalization
After a 7-day period allowing for discussion and refinement, the proposal becomes ready for submission for voting on Snapshot.
How to vote
Proposals that are through the review phase are brought to Snapshot, for on-chain voting.
Submitting proposals for vote
To submit a proposal, token holders must have held HORD valued at $1,000 for at least a month in their wallets.
Voting system
Bylines to ensure fair voting:
- Community members need to have HORD in their wallets on either the Ethereum or Arbitrum chains to be eligible to vote.
- Proposal durations are a minimum of 10 days, extending to Monday if ending on a weekend.
- Currently, 1 HORD equals 1 vote, with a time-weighted system planned for the future.
Voting results
For a proposal to be deemed valid, it requires participation from at least 2.5% of the circulating supply and a simple majority vote.
