Hord is evolving into Hord 2.0, and a significant part of that evolution is introducing Viking DAO.
With Viking DAO, backers can invest in pools of up to 20 different early-stage crypto projects at pre-sale pricing and receive a pool token in return. The pool token represents the value of the different tokens in the pool and can be traded on Hord DEX or redeemed after vesting periods are over. Hord’s first pool has been dubbed the Genesis Pool, it is already in the final testing phase and will be launched in the coming weeks.
As the Genesis Pool is Viking DAO’s first pool, the Hord team wants to ensure that the launch will go smoothly. The Genesis Pool will have a subscription mechanism with limited time slot windows to ensure a smooth launch. The time slot windows will be limited to 48 hours per window.
At Hord, our users and token holders come first. By implementing a subscription mechanism, users flow can be monitored, and Hord’s team can ensure the platform's stability. A scaled launch for the Genesis Pool is the most appropriate route to ensure Viking DAO’s security and stability.
Many more pools will follow the Genesis Pool, and the final product will launch shortly after. By the time of the 2nd Viking DAO pool’s launch, Hord 2.0 will be fully realized. Hord’s DEX will be fully operational, the Hord team will implement governance, and subscription slots will be removed.
Viking DAO will undergo several upgrades in Q1 and Q2 of 2023, including governance implementation for selecting projects, token redemptions, and additional HORD utilities within Viking DAO.
Hord governance is a feature that will launch in the first quarter of 2023. With Hord governance, Hord token holders can vote on different projects within Viking DAO’s pools and their allocations.
Many incredible early-stage crypto projects will be featured in Hord’s Genesis Pool and the following pools. Stay tuned for more!
